THIS IS A JOKE ... I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED AN OFFENSIVE COMMENT ... IT'S JUST A JOKE, JOKE, JOKE :) :) :)
do ranty replies get you riled ? ... are caustic critical comments constantly choking your creativity ? ... do pushy people pelt you with profuse personal put-downs ? ...
well, next time a comment offends your sensibilities, don’t go barmy, just go bingo by subjecting it to the “blog blah blah bingo” test below.
every time the comment commits an “offence” ... it gets a strike ... and if it gets 3 strikes, i think you’re safe to limit your response to one single word ... bingo ... and to assume that it's probably not worth taking to heart.
the "comment offences" punishable by one "blah blah blog bingo" strike are:
1/ latch onto thread in manner of pit bull and continue shaking long after it’s death
2/ quote dodgy “statistic” to support otherwise baseless argument
3/ answer question/s that nobody posed
4/ intentionally trivialise something that matters to its’ author
5/ make personal criticisms or assumptions only based on article or blog contents
6/ launch vitriol solely intended to derail a thread
7/ be “helpful” by correcting spelling and/or grammatical “errors”
8/ deliberately flare one minor detail out of all proportion
9/ supply link to own article full of further contradictory blah on same subject
... remember, three strikes and it’s gone ... just give it the "blah blah blog bingo" salute 
*disclaimer ... this is my attempt at humour ... i'm probably too cynical to actually be funny, so, you don't have to laugh, but please don't attack me either. i am not intending to cause offence in any way. and for the record, i have never received an offensive comment in my blog, and i do mean NEVER. so i owe a great debt in that way ... and thanks
