ok, to distract us from the more serious goings-on, this 'friday five' will be a way for us to dream about who we might have 'been' once life is all over for us. i know it sounds a little kooky, but bear with me.
i don't mean 'get all morbid and melancholy', i mean imagine the time, whenever it is, and dream for a moment about where you'd like to 'be' as a person by then, and what you'd hope to have inspired in those you leave behind.
imagining a confronting thing in an enlightening way can remove some of its' power. so think of who you are, who you'd like to become, and what impression you hope to have time to leave.
and, after it's over for you in this life ...
1/ what would you wish to be remembered for ?
2/ what would you want your last words to be ?
3/ what would you like your 'inscription' to read ?
4/ what would you hope is a song that reflects your lifetime ?
5/ what would you say to god if he turns out to be real ?
everyone is welcome, and, as always, if for any reason you want to avoid/alter anything, please feel free to do so. i do hope that the subject matter isn't considered inappropriate (it seems amazing that i can still say that after the last 2 weeks, right ? ), but my intent is good and designed only to encourage a happy 'sneak peek' at a life yet to be lived.
