... issues and tissues with a touch of the spicy from the spirit hag ...

It's confession time, people.

This week we're going to dig deep into the dark, dingy litle recesses of your brain, to uncover the scary, sordid, salicious little secrets that you keep tucked away.

Well, something like that, anyway.

If you're as old and boring as I am, I suggest you make something up. (Actually, my answer to all five this week is yes !.)

Have you ever ...

1/ Been arrested ?

2/ Punched anyone ?

3/ 'Lost it' in public ?

4/ Woken up in a strange place ?

5/ Performed on a stage ?

Come on kiddies, you can tell me ... and reasons ! I want reasons !!!

1/ Arrested? No. Got a ticket for which I had to appear in court once. (Cop mistakenly wrote me for driving without a license, when the issue was that I as a MN resident was using a MD license.)
2/ Punched? Yes. Had a bit of a scrape with some moron in camp when I was in 7th grade or so. (Hit him once or twice, sat on him, fight over. He was bigger than I was, too.)
3/ Lost it? No. I have never lost it, even in private.
4/ Woken up in a strange place? No. Closest I came to that was on my one big drinking binge in college. Woke up in a dorm lounge (not my dorm, either), but I remembered going to sleep there.
5/ Performed on stage? Yes. I took a theater/acting class in college and had to do a couple of performances as part of it.

Or at least that they are smart enough not to get caught.

i like the way you think, ladycleve

now I usually just put holes in walls instead of people. Still not good, but it's progress.

ladycleve, i agree that you've made progress (still, it would be better if the world was a nicer place and didn't make such fine people as our good sleves all upset to begin with)

When I would get depressed in college I would just wander off and wake up somewhere in the woods with little if any memory of how I'd gotten there.

i'm glad to know you made it through the woods, in every sense ladycleve

No, but close in North Carolina

come oooooooon ssg geezer, you can't leave me hanging like that !

Yes, a number of times, just guess

ooooohhhh. intruiging ! i love intrigue ! next to debauchery, it's my favourite thing !

Of course

oh, do tell !. (please ?)

Oodles and oodles

oh, that's great, spc nobody special. i'd love to know what type of performing you did, too ... hint, hint ...

do breaking fingers, eye gouging, or breaking the drywall with people's heads count?

yeah, sure. why not ? hehe

See number two.

hehe. i did. i did !

Stranger than Korea?

good point !

Punched? Yes. Had a bit of a scrape with some moron in camp when I was in 7th grade or so. (Hit him once or twice, sat on him, fight over. He was bigger than I was, too.)

alright, citahellion !. i love it !. sit on your opponent !

Lost it? No. I have never lost it, even in private.

wow. that leaves me even further in awe of you, citahellion !

Performed on stage? Yes. I took a theater/acting class in college and had to do a couple of performances as part of it.

please tell me what you performed ?

1/ Been arrested ? No, but the cop told me if I puked in his backseat instead of outside, he'd write me up. I didn't throw up there, thank God.

2/ Punched anyone ? Yes. Mostly just relatives, though.

3/ 'Lost it' in public ? My twin and I regularly scream at each other in public, but also have crazy fits of the giggles. Embarrassing, yes, but so commonplace now.

4/ Woken up in a strange place ? I woke up one morning, in a strange bed with an even stranger person. We were both fully dressed, but he had me in the biggest bearhug. I managed to untangle myself from him and then I snuck the hell out of there right quick. I made it out of the front door and did not recognize any noticable landmarks at all. I must have stood there for about 20 minutes trying to remember the events of the evening. I remembered leaving the bar with my sister, having a big blow-up fight, and then the two of us leaving for a house party. Of course, the second I thought the word 'sister' I ran back into the house. She was just coming down the stairs, I grabbed her arm and said we had to go, and where the hell were we? Turns out, we were 3 towns away and neither of us knew the people inside the house. Neither of us had been driving, and we didn't want to go back, so we just picked a direction and started walking. We found a payphone and began pooling our money together. And we had a similar exerience to Little Whip's: we both had way more money that morning than we did the night before. We took the most expensive cab ride home, and have never heard about those people again. Crazy times. And, of course, stupid times. We went out later that night and spent the rest of our windfall at pitcher night.

5/ Performed on a stage ? A lot. I've written and acted in my own plays, and have done theatre and singing with other groups in town. My best experience was doing an all out choreographed dance routine with 7 other people. It was fun to practice, difficult to learn and apparently, a riot to watch. My next stage project is definitely going to feature a dance sequence again!

Mig, there was hardly anything to my stage performances; we did a bunch of exercises throughout the course and then had to group up at the end for our final project, which was to do a 5-minute-or-so scene of our own choice in front of the rest of the class. My partner had already picked a piece that he wanted to do, so I went along with it. It was pretty obscure, I don't even remember anything about the play our scene was from.

1/ Been arrested ?
Nope, though I did get chased by them once. Hehe....I went through a 'bad boy' phase at school. I was hanging out with this lad who was smoking weed in public (in a carpark I think) next thing the police came, the lad ran off, and I followed suit. He got caught, but I out ran them! He never told them my name either, which is a good job as I didn't do anything wrong! I soon grew out of that stage though...

2/ Punched anyone ?
Fighting isn't my thing, but I did punch a guy that thought it was ok to attempt to grope my ass and tits. I was at a club, and first of all he pinched my ass, I let that go. Then he tried to full on grab my breasts. Having none of that. So I punched him. My dad taught me boxing from a young age, so I know how to punch, I don't think I hurt him, he was more shocked than anything that a tiny little thing could do that to him. These men with wandering hands need to learn!

3/ 'Lost it' in public ?
Yup! Not long ago I went supermarket shopping with my sister. We got to the checkouts, and me and my sister had a disagreement about something really trivial. I just started crying, in front of everyone! I was so embarrassed! It wasn't the argument with my sister, just things in general I guess!

4/ Woken up in a strange place ?
Umm....let me think....nope...not been that lucky yet

5/ Performed on a stage ?

Hehe, my claim to fame, I was in the pirates of penzance at school, and Tom Sawyer. These were the shows where I learnt I had no talent for singing or acting! At least I learned at an early age!

1) been arrested?- No, suprisingly. I'm a good girl really.

2)Punched someone?- yes. About 3 people, and not in jest either. I think I hurt myself more than them though...

3)Lost it in public?-depends how you define lost it...I have cried quite publicly a few times. I cry a lot, I'm such a wimp!

4)Woken up in a strange place?- hehe ah the number of times I've woken up in a) someone else's bed, or worse- someone else's floor/closet/bathtub/car/kitchen sink, with no idea how I got there...The weirdest place I ever woke up was beside an indoor swimmingpool in someone's hotel. Took me about 2 hours to walk home, and I was very hung over. bleurgh.

5)Performed on stage?-Yes, played a teeny tiny gig, I sang, I played guitar, I nearly vomited all over myself. It was the highlight of my life!

Good questions as always Vanessa. You're on top form lately hehe

1. Yes, but the midget refused to press charges

2. Yes, i was very angry as a young lad.

3. Yes, but not for a long time

4. Yes CONSTANTLY.

5. Yes, over 100 times. (former wanna-be rock star)

1. Yes, for jumping a fence and swimming in a public pool at 3 am. It was 38 degrees celcius and yes, I was drunk at the time. No harm, no foul, no recording conviction.
2. I'm not proud of this, but I hit a taxi driver once for being a complete bastard. It was New Year's Day and very early in the morning. I was lined up at a taxi rank in the ACT and had been standing there for about an hour when a taxi pulled up. He pointed to three cute young girls and told me he was going to take them instead. I jumped in the cab anyway. He tried to physically push me out so I hit him. While no legal implications occured, I didn't get home until much, much later because no other cab would stop for me.
3. Hmm, see above
4. When I was a lot younger, this happened a couple of times. I still don't know how I got to where I did, but I'm glad it only happened a couple of times as it is most disconcerting.
5. Yes, regularly. I'm a singer/songwriter who has played on stage many, many times.

5) When I directed a faculty show and one of the leads became ill and i had to practice what I preached!

4) No, at least, places I've never been to and had to spend the night - does that count?

The most satisfying punch ive ever delivered though, was to my (ex) husband, on my 30th birthday.

yay, sabrina !. what a turd he sounds like !. i'd like to give him a bit of a bitch-slap myself hehe

so when the cops got there they took HIM off to jail, took me to the hospital

so they should. but geez, i bet he was pissed off. how satisfying for you, sabrina. love it !

They say that God looks after drunks and fools....and the fact that i survived that trip proves it. Im glad to say ive never done anything even remotely that stupid again.

i'm glad, too. otherwise you may not have survived to join ju, amongst other things

And as many of you know, i was a titty-dancer for a couple of years in my mid 20s....so i can say ive been comfortable on stage for most of my life

god, sabrina. that's the most fabulous thing i've EVER heard anybody say. i mean it. outstanding !

2/ Punched anyone ? Yes. Mostly just relatives, though.

bwaaaa haaa nic, your family sounds like mine !

And we had a similar exerience to Little Whip's: we both had way more money that morning than we did the night before

that is too strange. particularly since neither you or sabrina ever found out where the money came from, nic.

My next stage project is definitely going to feature a dance sequence again!

nic, you superstar !. i didn't know you were a coreographer.

the lad ran off, and I followed suit. He got caught, but I out ran them!

sal, i can just se you in your little school dress, bolting from the cops. oh, too funny ! hehe

but I did punch a guy that thought it was ok to attempt to grope my ass and tits

so did dharma, sal !!!. you go, girls !

Hehe, my claim to fame, I was in the pirates of penzance at school, and Tom Sawyer. These were the shows where I learnt I had no talent for singing or acting! At least I learned at an early age!

go the school muscals ! we were all stars, sal. i was in 'grease' ! bwaaa haaaaa

yes. About 3 people, and not in jest either. I think I hurt myself more than them though

good for you, dyl !. i'd probably knock myself over if i punched anyone nowadays hehe

ah the number of times I've woken up in a) someone else's bed, or worse- someone else's floor/closet/bathtub/car/kitchen sink, with no idea how I got there...The weirdest place I ever woke up was beside an indoor swimmingpool in someone's hotel. Took me about 2 hours to walk home, and I was very hung over. bleurgh

indeed, dyl. i can relate !. i'm going to do my own answers soon hehe

?-Yes, played a teeny tiny gig, I sang, I played guitar, I nearly vomited all over myself. It was the highlight of my life!

sounds funky, dyl. ... except for the nearly puking part, anyway

You're on top form lately hehe

thanks, dyl. i'm onto less blogs, but better quality (well, so i like to hope, anyway hehe)

Yes, but the midget refused to press charges

silky, you're a very naughty boy. i have missed you !!!

Yes CONSTANTLY.

oh, DO tell silky ....

Yes, over 100 times. (former wanna-be rock star)

anything we can listen to ?. i do like boys with guitars ! hehe

I'm not proud of this, but I hit a taxi driver once for being a complete bastard

i just read your explanation, dynamaso, and i think in this instance you were justified.

When I was a lot younger, this happened a couple of times. I still don't know how I got to where I did, but I'm glad it only happened a couple of times as it is most disconcerting.

i know what you mean. it does seem to be a 'youthful' thing to do (thank goodness !)

. Yes, regularly. I'm a singer/songwriter who has played on stage many, many times.

that's fantastic, dynamaso. do you have a website or any music we could listen to ?

When I directed a faculty show and one of the leads became ill and i had to practice what I preached!

arrrrghhh, stevendedalus, i HATE it when that happens, don't you ?

my computer is freaking out can you erase all these, I'll do this at a later time sorry.

carlos !!!!!! HI !!!!. it's so nice to hear from you. what a shame your pc is mucking up on you, i've deleted the comments as you asked, i hope we''ll be hearing from you sooner than later. thanks for stopping by

Yes, in defense of my then 12 year old daughter to a dirty old man!

good for you, foreverserenity. i hope you gave the dirty old pig a mouthful or two.

No, at least, places I've never been to and had to spend the night - does that count?

we'll say it does

Yep. During grade school and in high school. I was always singing and dancing. Even appeared on television a couple of times, dancing with my group. Had dreams of one day being a star

i too was in the 'high school musicals', but i never had tv aspirations. i think it's great that you managed to get that far, foreverserenity. sounds like some pretty cool memories you have there.

THANKS EVERYONE ... SORRY I WAS SOOOOOOOO LATE
