i read recently some statistics from one of the ‘oldest’ blogsites on the internet. i am aware that it probably includes everyone who ever registered there, so i can’t vouch for it’s currency, as many of the bloggers 'registered' would be long gone by now, having jumped on the first blog site available then run out of steam shortly thereafter.
it is, however, a very interesting snapshot of the age of your ‘average’ blogger (if there can be such a thing as an ‘average blogger’) when blogging became freely available.
age distribution of bloggers – (figures rounded down for clarity)

the top 15 geographical locations in order of number of blogs are:

at the time of the survey, there were approximately 2 male bloggers for every female.
wonder how this stacks up (relatively) to our ju community ?. i am a relic !.
