... no more "animal sex" + 'how to" for these porn surfers !
The ongoing Chinese crackdown against Internet porn now includes the government working with the two top search engines in the country to restrict the use of keywords.
Top Chinese search engine Baidu has revealed that they’ve barred 40,000 keywords after it was established that 70 percent of Chinese Web surfers used this search engine (plus Google) to search for information.
Baidu told the Chinese state news agency Xinhua that barring the 40,000 keywords will effectively block about 500,000 porn pages, stating that, of Chinas’ 87 million net users, over 50% are under 24 and 18% are minors.
The Ministry of Culture is also publishing a list of banned internet games after the China Consumers' Association said that computer games had "unhealthy content” that could “bring about a series of social problems."
According to news agency Xinhua, Association secretary-general Teng Jiacai said "The PC games are always related to sex, violence, gambling, superstition and other unhealthy content harming national security."
