official 'blog in the nude' day

In the interests of freeing our creative spirits of their material bindings or something really heavy and funky and hopefully non-boring like that, I propose that we on JU have the first ever official "Blog In The Nude Day" (aka "BITND" for short).

I further propose that we celebrate our 'bare blogging' on this day by using our nakedness as a metaphor for our spiritual lightness, and pour forth into our respective blogs the light and love this fills us all with !. Yeah !.

(Or we could all just laugh whilst trying to simultaneously compose a legible blog and stay away from the windows, like I shall be doing ?).

Saturday, October 2, 2004, is the date planned for the big event. (No puns intended. No, not even the good ones).

So, get your gear off, write that naked blog, and, don't forget to put the "BITND" in your title somewhere, so we know you did it. You sneaky little thing, you ...

I have young little boys who could be terribly scarred by seeing mommy sitting naked in front of the computer. Is blogging in just a night shirt acceptable?

If it were a weekday, I would do it. Weekends just aren't going to work, because the kids are home from school and would be grossed out and terrified at the same time were I to BITN.

Perhaps I'll just BITN in advance, save it, and post it on Saturday.

i see what you mean jill. we can't have the boys thinking that mummy has lost her marbles and decided to type in the nude !. i think the nightshirt is a fine compromise !.

sabrina, it was you that inspired me !. in my other thread about 'having nothing on' !. i find it hilarious to imagine us all sitting here typing in the buff, i really do wonder if it will change our writing.

I should be arriving in VA saturday morning...and wont be back online till Weds when our cable is hooked up...and will MOST LIKELY be very busy anyway, having not seen my beloved Master for 2 weeks.

oh, i'm so bummed that you can't join in sabrina. can you do one early maybe, like on friday ? (beg, beg ... grovel, grovel hehe). anyway, if it's impossible, i'm sure we can host another one ... in your honour ! yay !. (and safe journey)

Nick had people over yesterday to code and do other computer related stuff - James (his bro) stayed over - still here and his parents are coming over for lunch.

Plus I have this thing about not doing things naked - plus we have leather couches - that stick to you - ew and ow - BITN is not for me -- but have fun guys.
