... issues and tissues with a touch of the spicy from the spirit hag ...

This week, we’re going to move to another planet and begin a JU master-race.

For the sake of the exercise, we can assume that: (a) our families, partners, and pets are with us (without needing to be listed), and, ( we have adequate wildlife, plantlife, water, fuel, food, soil, light, power and shelter.

Make your Martian migration list here. What (who !) will you be taking with you ?. Choose from these ...

1/   5 males (any living person, excluding family/partner)

2/   5 females (as above)

3/   5 ‘electric’ items (computer, refrigerator, lamp, radio, etc)

4/   5 ‘fuel’ vehicles (plane, car, boat, tractor, etc)

5/   5 items of cultural/historical significance (music, museums, books, paintings, etc)

Everyone is welcome. Join our Martian mission .

It's not boring Mig, it's a wonderful idea. I had a hard time with the last 5 though.

5 males..hmm okay I want my best buddy Holden, Davey, the cute little korean guy who sells me my marlboros and the Times in the morning, Jack the harmonica playing pothead photographer, and if it's alright with you Vanessa- can I have Marco for stimulating conversation?

5 females- Polly, P.J Harvey, Elizabeth Wurzel, that bag lady who hangs out in the park I see sometimes, and Diana Ross (Nothing like a diva to keep things interesting)

5 electric items-stereo with really big speakers and good sound quality, as many cds as I can smuggle with me, coffee maker, laptop, electric guitar and amp.

5 fuel vehicals- one of those big boxy 70s pimp style cadillacs with the top sawed off. That's all I need.

5 the Met (museum)and therefore all the artworks in it, any book by Steinbeck or Thomas Wolfe, or any of the Beat writers...(actually, can i just have all my favorite books please?), the Brooklyn Bridge, "When your lover has gone" as sung by Billie Holiday, and the carousel in central park south.

Hm.

2- Britney Spears (to shove into space), Oprah (someone's got to give advice, besides, watching her fluctuating weight would be interesting...), Julia Roberts, and both of the Chinese played in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. (The one that acted as Jen, and Chow Yun Fat's girlfriend)

Thanks, I love the movie, and esp. the sound track...then again Iove anything from Tan Dun and Yo Yo Ma, but I couldn't remember those two names.

Zhang Ziyi is in the new Hero movie, and though I haven't seen that one, the music is incredible as well...of course the music was done by Tan Dun

chip, dyl, silky, citahellion, silver and jade tears, helix the II, texas wahine, inbloom and chip .... THANKYOU !!!

i have had a bad few days comments-wise with this spam thing, and i've been avoiding my own blog comments. i was even scared of my beloved friday five !!!.

i apologize for not 'hosting' this better. i got 'comment paranoia' and spent most of my time trying to make my old articles 'comments by registered users only' (one by one) instead of paying attention to my blog !. and it still got me. (i have over 300 articles and could only do so many before i went mad ! hehe)

anyway, i killed this friday five and i'm sorry

hope you will all still come back next week. i promise i'll be good !
