"friday five" ... i got drunk and i missed it !!!

I am horrified to admit, gentle reader, that, last night, while I was supposed to be posting the "Friday Five", I was actually at the Plantation Hotel watching my friends' band and behaving in a rather undignified manner !.

I should explain that I avoid alcohol for two main reasons. One being that it tends to, err, intensify my personality. (ie: I begin to say even more things that I should only think), and the other being that drinking just does not seem to agree with my body. Alcohol goes straight to my head and stays there.

Needless to say, I didn't actually drink very much. (I don't have to. I am what is colloqially known as a "toucan" (two cans and she's a loud bird). But this did not stop me becoming merry enough to come home and compose a "Friday Five" quite unlike any other I have produced.

To complicate matters, I also made my drunk friends think of a rude question to ask a stranger, and I added the worst ones to the Friday Five list.

Unhappily, I fell asleep drooling in the keyboard before I could post the resultant, ahem, interesting questions. And now, here I am, at 1pm on Saturday afternoon, deliberating posting the questions I ask when the filters are off.

So, after some careful thought, (and a lot of spelling corrections) here is the first (and last) ever drunken Friday Five. Don't tell my Mum.

Circumcision isn't necessary in a modern society. It can significantly reduce disease in some third world countries, but basic hygiene compensates for it when you have such facilities. Our son isn't circumcised.

I think it really depends on the person. I think some people lend themselves more to polyamorous or polygamous tendencies, and those things should be discussed between partners.

Ok, my answers on the first three were lame, but I wanted to imput on the final 2.

I don't think it really qualifies as a fetish, but I think authority-type occupations are hot. I really dig that fact that my husband is a soldier . . . leave the uniform and boots on, baby (are you sure you can't bring your M16 home?)! Police-type uniforms with the boots and all are hot, too . . .

I don't think it's neccessarily natural, but I do think it's a good thing. It's a choice that we make, and I don't think fidelity is always an easy thing. To me anyways, it's worth the effort.

Monogamy is basically natural for women and unnatural for men. However, it's healthy for both - forces personal and spiritual growth in most cases.

I'm a little late, so it'll have to be Saturday five for me! hehe I think these questions are quite good considering!

1) Do you have a fetish?-I don't think its a fetish as such, but I do have a thing for chunky men (thats chunky not fat) and men with weird noses.

2) Do women think size matters?- I suppose it matters for some more than others. I guess it matters to an extent, but I think its more what you do with it, or without it even... Men who are good at foreplay are so rare...

3) why do I keep getting those little packages in the mailbox that say to the "resident" and turn out to be for "secret womans' business?"- Perhaps you are secretly a woman, or maybe its a code used by the FBI for your mission statements.

4) What is your opinion on circumcision?-hmm..I think its kinda mean when they do it to little Jewish boys..because well, its not like they can have a say in it is it? But in general i think it looks more attractive, but thats a v. ny attitude and i guess it differs depending on where you live, your religion etc. In the end, I dont have a penis, so I don't suppose I have much right to say whats better and what isn't.

5) Do you think monogamy is a healthy/natural state for humans?- I suppose before we got so damn smart, it probably wasn't. But since we (well most of us) seem to have developed this weird consciousness thing, and a conscience along with it, I think now we have the capacity to be monogamous. I don't think its natural biologically (but i dont know too much about that) but I think that socially its been the done thing for a long time, although now we're starting to see another kind of sexual liberation (if you like, on a smaller scale than the 60s though i guess) where people mostly go out and have one night stands, or open relationships and within many groups -especially younger groups- it's just accepted. People have probably done this for a long time, but i think its only lately its become so accepted, celebrated even- especially for women. So..I dunno. I guess if some people still feel like cheating, monogamy can't be all that healthy.But thats a complicated question, cuz you're really opposing the mental and the physical desires of someone- you might want to be monogamous, but its not always possible. Lust is a powerful thing.

1/ Fetish? No.
2/ Women->Size? Many are probably influenced by it to a significant degree regardless of what they say about it.
3/ fe-mail? Probably because you got put on a fetish mailing list by a woman who was not impressed by the size of your uncircumsized penis and wanted revenge after discovering you were going to dump her for another girl.
4/ Circumcision? Neutral. Haven't really looked the pros and cons. Probably won't ever care if I don't have a boy.
5/ Monogamy Natural? No. Just look at the sheer variety of options that are well-known from ancient days. I do believe it is more natural for a woman to desire it than for a man, though. Healthy? Yes, in at least terms of being beneficial for the development of the species.
